8th European Congress on Intrapartum Care (ECIC 2027) – Making Birth Safer

ECIC is a biennial international congress for everyone involved in care around birth: midwives, obstetricians, anaesthesiologists and paediatricians from across Europe and beyond. Organised jointly by the European Association of Perinatal Medicine (EAPM), the European Midwives Association (EMA) and the Special Interest Group in Intrapartum Care, it is built on the conviction that women and newborns are best served when midwifery and obstetric expertise work together.
The programme covers evidence-based clinical advances, person-centred approaches to birth and the latest research on safety and prevention, with the aim of turning new evidence into better everyday practice.
